Meet Rachel
Hey everyone! My name is Rachel Taylor and I am the in-house personal trainer here at Central Fitness!
I grew up in Plano, Texas before living in Chicago, Colorado, and am now a Camdenton local. I’ve been visiting the Lake of the Ozarks since I was a little girl as my grandparents had lived here my entire life. This area has always felt like home to me, and my husband and I look forward to raising our first child here (due August 2023). I participated in competitive gymnastics for 10 years before competitive cheerleading for 3 years. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my high school sweetheart and now husband Brendan, listening to personal growth podcasts, keeping up with recent news, reading books, cooking, and going on walks and hikes when the weather permits. I’ve worked as a waitress and bartender for many years while putting myself through school and starting an online health coaching business.
I have my Associates of Arts Degree in Psychology and I hold my Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I am always trying to learn more and am currently studying to become a Certified Nutrition Coach. I am passionate about helping people take control of their lives by utilizing physical fitness and teaching them how to properly fuel their bodies while also focusing on their mental health. It’s my opinion that when you place focus on all areas of your health and wellness, you’re more likely to reach your goals and find true happiness rather than being solely focused on how your body looks.
